Our Mission is to offer support and comfort to the men and women serving our country in Iraq and around the globe.  Cigars to the Troops does this by offering them a unique luxury item.

In 2004 Clay was working at his barber shop in Vail Colorado.  He was reading through a cigar magazine when a Colonel requested a cigar be sent to a soldier in Iraq.  In response to a sincere request Clay, in a heartfelt response, generously rolled his first box of cigars to Iraq.  A local news reporter caught wind of Clay’s generosity and word soon spread of his simple patriotic gesture.  Out of Clay’s gesture the citizens of Vail responded.  It is this series of events that lead to the birth of Cigars to the Troops and the people of Vail that kept this idea funded. In June of 2006 Cigars to the Troops obtained non-profit status and has been progressing ever since.
